believes there was a devil king Hirankashyap long
times ago . he had a son named Prahalad and a sister called Holika. hiranyakashyap thought he was unbeatable and immortal .he thought he was god and ordered
everybody. This means no man, animal or weapon could kill him. He was ordered his
kingdom to worship him instead of God, not sparing his own son. All the people
began worshipping him except for his son Prahalad refused
to worship father instead of a god for this reason Hirankasiyaop planned
his sister had an extraordinary power that she didn’t get burned from the
fireplace –once wearing a unique garment he made her sit in the fire with his
son on the lap,where Holika got burned and Prahalad came out safe this
indicated he was protected by the lord of his devotion and later lord Vishnu
appeared within the sort Narsing and killed hiranyakashyap together with
his claws by putting him in his lap that the people were free from the demons
Holika and demon Hiranyakashipa .
Thus, the festival Holi
was originated.
